About Christina and the Songs
How It Started
Before Christina had children of her own, she taught Sunday School to elementary school aged children. Once she became a mother, she moved to the Nursery class, which was geared for 0-3 year old children. She wanted to make the class more than just a "cry room", but actually provide some religious education. She tried to read from a children's Bible, and in an attempt to have the children sit and listen, she provided a snack. But once the animal crackers ran out, they did not pay much attention to the story.
As a mother of her own young children, she noticed that if she sang almost anything, her children calmed down and listened. She saw most children loved the soothing and familiar tunes of Nursery Rhymes. Those melodies became the base for all the lyrics. The words and songs in this book are the outcome of her time with the children each and every Sunday. There are so many basic concepts she wanted to teach, and before she knew it - over 40 songs were written!
Parents loved it as much as the kids - and encouraged Christina to publish these songs to share with all of you!
About the Songs
These songs were all created with the intention of education. Each topic is something relevant to the young church attendee - things they see, do or hear about. Each song has been researched and reviewed by members of clergy.

FAQ: I see you created 3 editions of your book, "Since God Loves You and You Know It.. Sing Out Loud!", what's the difference?
Answer: I get that question often, thanks for asking! There are 3 editions, for Orthodox Christians, Catholics and all Christians. They are mainly the same, except for a few variations, mainly in the "Church Time Basics" section. For example, in the Orthodox version, it says to cross yourself from right to left, but in the other versions, it says to cross yourself from left to right. Another example is in the song "Five Little Kids", some verses are changed, especially as the faithful enter the church (see picture). There are couple extra songs in the Orthodox version about Holy Icons and receiving Communion.
All the songs about God's Love and Bible Stories are the same.
FAQ: How can I get an autographed book?
Answer: Great question, and autographed books make great gifts! Please contact me directly and I will be happy to personalize a book for you. Just place the order on this website and reach out to me via the Contact Me button below to let me know who the book should be signed to. (Orders placed on Amazon or other sites come direct from them and therefore cannot be personalized.)
FAQ: I heard that you can help with fundraisers, how does that work?
Answer: I love to help churches and other non-profits make a little money! You can order a quantity of books at a reduced rate and them sell them for the retail price. You keep the difference! If you live in the NYC Metro area, I can come and do a book signing (not available during COVID). I can also pre-sign books in advance and so you can have books "Signed by the Author".
